Information and Technology is a general term that describes any technology that helps to produce, manipulate, store, communicate, and/or disseminate information. In recent days Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology(ABET) AND THE Association for Computing Machinery(ACM) have collaborated to form accreditation and curriculum standards for degrees in Information Technology as a distinct field of study separate from both Computer Science and Information Systems. The Department aims to deliver the IT academic courses relevant to changing needs of industry, advance the state of knowledge, application of IT through fundamental and applied research promote technologically based advances in industry and society.
The Department has Programming Lab, Multimedia Lab and Operating System Lab equipped with HP Desktops with latest software C++, Visual Studio, SQL Server, Adobe and Red Hat Linux. The Department has going to set up Project Lab installed with advanced software IBM rational Rose, Oracle 10i with advanced tools. Also the Department has Programming Lab, Multimedia Lab and Operating System Lab equipped with HP Desktops with latest software C++, Visual Studio, SQL Server, Adobe and Red Hat Linux. The Department is going to set up Project Lab installed with advanced software IBM rational Rose, Oracle 10i with advanced tools. Also the department has planned to set up System Administration and Hardware Lab for students.
Duration
Full time- 4 year graduate degree program approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India and affiliated to M D University, Rohtak.
